How a price is put together

Each interviewer sets a base rate for their time. Our platform fee is calculated on top of it, and the two are combined into the single figure shown on their profile.

  1. 01The interviewer sets their rateThey choose what their time is worth and how long a session runs — 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes.
  2. 02We add our fee on topA fixed percentage, calculated from their base rate. It is how HireXAI is funded, and it never comes out of what they earn.
  3. 03You see one totalThe combined figure appears on their profile and at checkout. There is no second number, and nothing is added at the final step.

Referrals are free on both sides. Interviewers post roles open at their own company and refer people directly — we take nothing from it.

Why prices differ

We do not set a rate card. Each person decides what their time is worth, which is why two sessions of the same length can be priced differently.

Seniority

A principal engineer's hour is priced differently to a mid-level one.

Domain

Specialised areas like system design or ML tend to sit higher.

Session length

Sessions run from 15 to 90 minutes. You pick the one you need.

No. There is no monthly fee, no minimum and no commitment. You pay for a session when you book it, and nothing otherwise.

No. The price is locked to your booking at the moment you confirm it. If the interviewer raises their rate afterwards, your booked session is unaffected.

No. Every price you see on HireXAI already includes it. The number on the interviewer's profile is the number you pay — nothing is added at the last step.

Indian Rupees. Mentors serving international candidates may list in USD, in which case the total is shown in that currency before you confirm.

Guidance sessions can be cancelled from your dashboard up to three hours before they start, for a full refund. If the interviewer cancels or does not join, you are refunded in full or can rebook free.

No. Joining as an interviewer is free. Our fee is calculated on top of the rate they set, so they receive their rate in full.
